The followings list of news releases reflect the developments governed by our patents or new technology used in our devices.

  1. May 25, 1999 -- The first IMT 2000 phones (mock-up samples) were displayed during the ECOWK Seoul EXPO by Samsung, SK Telecomm and Korea Telecomm on May 25, 1999. John Kim attended this show. (This and some other articles are printed in Korean and are not shown.)

  2. September 30, 1999 -- The world's first portable visual phone (visual phone model VP-210) announced by Kyocera.

  3. June 9, 1999 -- Nortel & Samsung reached an agreement to developing IMT-2000 phone system, as reported by the Korea Times news.

  4. June 29, 1999 -- LG announced that LG has developed IMT-2000 T/R systems, Korea Times reported.

  5. Hitachi & Cambridge University developed a new chip of PLEDM which can record audio and images instantly for 4 to 5 hours.

  6. September 28, 1999 -- The Korean IT companies have already paid over 500 Million Dollars in royalties to the U.S. Qualcomm company, as reported by the Korean Times News.

  7. December 10, 1999 -- PTO of Korea issued John Kim's patent of multi-function 3rd generation cell phones on December 10, 1999. And the U.S.A. approved the patent on March 16, 2001.

  8. February 1, 2000 -- CEO John Kim had meetings when visiting the Hyundai Corp., Samsung Corp., LG Corp., SK Telecomm Corp. and released patent information, along with drawings for the developing product and mutual business, on 2/1/2000 to 2/24/2000. The Central Daily News and Korea Economic News featured an article about our third-generation cell phone, including removable memory cards, on February 23rd, 2000.

  9. May 23, 2000 -- Sandisk & Qualcomm reach an agreement to develop "Flash Memory Cards" for the cell phones on May 23, 2000.

  10. March 29, 2000 -- Spring, Samsung and Qualcomm successfully make first CDMA third generation voice cell, announced on March 29, 2000.

  11. June 29, 2000 -- Samsung announces the first Camera-Phone model -- SCH-V200 -- which is subject to our patent.

  12. June 31, 2000 -- Ford and Qualcomm form wireless service firm on June 31, 2000.

  13. September 13, 2000 -- The Tiger Company announces usage of removable memory cards in Palm and cell-phones, per Korean Times News.

  14. December 13, 2000 -- The Snaptrack announces availability of multi-mode GPS location solution for IC and wireless devices on December 13, 2000.

  15. February 9, 2001 -- Sandisk & Zoran cooperate to develop MPEG-4 technology for the digital camera and cell-phones.

  16. April 23, 2001 -- Yahoo revealed that SanDisk will supply Canon U.S.A. with flash memory, CompactFlash and MultiMedia cards for its new digital video and still cameras.

  17. April 24, 2001 -- The Korean goverment received about One Billion Dollars in contributions from SK Telecomm and Korea Telecomm Company and in return the Korean government issued an exclusive license for business rights to IMT 2000 Satellite Communication Systems.   18. April 27, 2001 -- Yahoo revealed today that QualComm has entered into a 3G CDMA Infrastructure equipment agreement with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. See details here.

  19. August 21st, 2001 -- The United States Patent Office announced today that is has issued Patent No. 6278884 to Minerva Industries, Inc. of Los Angeles.

  20. January 20, 2004 -- US patent office has issued continuing patent #6,681,120 on January 20, 2004.

  21. January 22, 2004 -- On January 22,2004, our legal representatives have issued 30 days patent infringement notices.
