USPTO's publication date for the 131 continuing claims of Mobile Entertainment and Communication Device as well as the 26 additional claims for the memory card is scheduled for October 12, 2006.

"Of the forecasted 153 million cellphone sales for 2006 in the United States and 1 billion world-wide, practically 100% are covered under our 157 claims." said John Kim, president of Minerva Industries Inc. "Under US patent law, provisional right (35 U.S.C. 154 ) of 122(b), Minerva Industries Inc has the right to obtain royalties begining Oct 12, 2006"
